PS-2P/KK #345 Powder Strip Paste (Contains Methylene Chloride) - 55 Gallon Drum
PS-2P is CCS's formidable methylene chloride ambient temperature gel paint and powder coat remover. Enhanced with acid additives PS2P specializes in removing an array of coatings. These coatings include Epoxy paint, powder coating, Cerakote and much more. Directly applied without submersion , its a powerhouse as PS-2P does not remove chrome or nickel plating.
PS-2P is a powerful paste stripper and is made with methylene chloride with an acid activator strong enough to remove the most stubborn coatings on the market including epoxy and clear coats. This paste coating stripper can be brushed on or sprayed directly to the finish. PS-2P paste blend works great on large parts and vertical surfaces without losing any performance qualities as an immersion stripper.

This mix of methylene chloride and toluene was formulated to remove powder coating, catalyzed urethanes, polyesters and other modern paints including a variety of other coating on steel and aluminum. This is not meant for the use on magneium substrates.

- Stripping time may vary depending on the type of coating and coating thickness on the substrate.
- Always use product at room temperatures. Suggested use is when temperatures are between 60°and 85°F.
- After the stripping process is completed the product should be rinsed with water to neutralize the chemical.
- Dispose of all paint and waste sludge responsibly and accordance with federal, local and state codes/regulations.
When not in use store unused stripper locked in a cool well ventilated location Keep the stripper in an airtight poly or stainless steel container.

- A 55 gallon drum of PS-2P clears an impressive coverage of about 350 square foot of heavy duty industrial coating and over 700 square foot on lighter coatings.
- PS-2P is safe for use on aluminum, steel and wood but its not suitable for magnesium and fiberglass.
- Efficiently stripping coatings in 15-45 minutes, PS-2P might require a second round for multi-layered coatings to reach the base material.
- A hog hair brush is recommended for application, as spraying is less effective due to nozzle degradation from PS-2P contact.
- Rinse thoroughly with water, directly from a hose, power washer, or a neutral pH water rinse tank.
- PS-2P stays potent for 2 years, and even if it separates due to freezing, a simple remix restores its effectiveness.
