Pretreat Wash Enclosure - 8' x 8' x 16'

The outside dimensions are 8 feet wide, 8 feet tall, and 16 feet long. The structure is built from welded 14-gauge 3-inch steel tubing with 20-gauge galvanized sheet metal walls. Interior clearance allows room for parts, racks, and operator movement during wash cycles.

The enclosure ships with a circulation fan, 4 LED light fixtures, a catch basin, an electric pump for draining the basin, and a 24-inch plenum on the rear wall for connecting an exhaust fan. Walls, frame, and all structural components are included. Wired for single-phase 240V with three-phase optional.

The enclosure handles chemical wash on new raw metal, soiled substrates, and parts being recoated. It is an alternative to abrasive blasting for surface preparation. Common chemicals used include phosphate washes, degreasers, and conversion coatings applied before powder coating or paint.

Yes. The 24-inch plenum on the rear wall connects to your exhaust fan and ductwork. The circulation fan inside the enclosure moves air across the wash area. Proper ventilation removes chemical fumes and moisture, meeting OSHA requirements for enclosed chemical wash operations.
