TPR Rigid Caster 5" x 1" - 400 lb Capacity

This caster is rated at 400 lbs per wheel. The 5" diameter provides a good balance between compactness and floor clearance for rolling over minor obstacles. The nylon core handles the load while the thermoplastic polyurethane tread provides non-marking floor protection.

This caster works well on smooth concrete, sealed concrete, tile, epoxy, and polished floors. The non-marking, non-staining tread will not leave scuffs or residue. It is suitable for warehouses, factories, retail spaces, and any environment where floor appearance matters.

TPR (thermoplastic rubber) uses a rubber-elastomer compound while TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) uses a polyurethane compound. TPU is harder at 94 Shore A versus 65-85 for TPR. TPU handles higher loads and resists abrasion better. Both are non-marking and floor protective.
