Temperature Probe - K-Type Thermocouple

This is a K-type thermocouple, the most common type used in powder coating and curing ovens. K-type thermocouples measure temperatures from -200C to 1,260C, well beyond the 350-450F range used in powder curing. They connect to standard K-type PID controllers and readouts.

The probe measures 4 inches in length. This length positions the sensing tip inside the oven chamber past the wall insulation so it reads actual air temperature in the curing zone, not wall temperature. The 4" length is standard for CCS oven probe mounting locations.
