Steel Overpack Drum Dolly - 1,200 lb

An overpack dolly moves overpack drums, which are larger containment drums that hold a standard drum inside them for spill containment. The low 5-5/8" profile keeps the heavy overpack drum close to the floor for stable transport and easier loading than lifting onto a taller dolly platform.

This dolly supports up to 1,200 lbs, which covers a full 55-gallon drum inside an overpack containment drum with the combined weight of both containers and their contents. The 1,200 lb capacity provides a safety margin for the heaviest liquids stored in overpack configurations.

The low profile reduces the lifting height when loading a heavy overpack drum onto the dolly. It also lowers the center of gravity during transport, making the loaded dolly more stable. Overpack drums are already taller than standard drums, so keeping the dolly height minimal is a practical safety advantage.

The platform measures 28-3/8" x 28-3/8", sized to fit standard overpack drum diameters. The square shape provides stable support under the round drum base. The edges contain the drum base and prevent it from sliding off the platform during transport across shop floors.
