It also works with petroleum fluids like diesel, lube oils, kerosene, solvents, thinners, and cleaning solutions of light to medium viscosity.

Do not use with ammonium chloride, aqua regia, bromine water, calcium chloride, trichloroacetic acid, chlorine water, ferric chloride, ferrous chloride, freon 12, hydrobromic acid, hydrofluoric acid, sodium hydroxide, stannic chloride, or sulfuric acid. These chemicals attack the stainless steel construction.

The pump fits a 1-inch bung opening. This is a standard bung size on many 5-gallon pails used for industrial chemicals. The pump threads into the bung and the piston action draws liquid up and out of the pail. No external power is needed since the pump operates by hand.
