A canopy plenum is required when you add a direct gas-fired air makeup heater to your semi downdraft spray booth. The plenum distributes heated air evenly across the booth ceiling before it enters the spray area. Without it, hot air from the heater enters unevenly and creates temperature differences.

Yes. This canopy plenum kit installs on both new and existing iDEAL semi downdraft paint booths, specifically models PSB-SEMIDD26B-1PH and PSB-SEMIDD26B-3PH. The 5/16" nut and bolt assembly mounts directly to the booth structure. All hardware and sealant needed for installation are included in the kit.

The plenum uses heavy-duty precision punched 18 gauge steel panels with a bright white powder coated finish on both the inside and outside surfaces. The white interior finish reflects light and makes visual inspection easier. Panels connect with 5/16" nut and bolt assembly for secure, sealed joints.
