This door kit fits the PSB-SEMIDD semi downdraft and PSB-SDD side downdraft paint spray booth models. It provides an additional side entry point for operator access. The kit bolts onto the booth side panel using included 5/16" hardware with no cutting or welding.
Yes. The door includes a door-activated shutoff switch and a door limit switch. When the door opens during booth operation, the system shuts off to prevent overspray from escaping. This protects booth air quality and operator safety. The system restarts when the door is closed.
The viewing window uses tempered glass, which is heat-treated for impact resistance and safety. If broken, tempered glass fractures into small rounded pieces rather than sharp shards. This is the required glass type for industrial spray booth applications where chemical exposure occurs.
Dual-skin construction uses two steel panels with an air gap between them. This provides better insulation, sound dampening, and structural rigidity than single-panel doors. It also resists denting from daily shop use and maintains the door's flatness over years of opening and closing.
