3M Roloc Bristle Disc 2" x 5/8" - 50 Grit Ceramic

The disc strips, deburrs, blends, finishes, polishes, cleans, and removes coatings. The molded abrasive-filled bristles are more effective than wire brushes for these operations. The bristle design conforms to surface contours that flat abrasive discs would miss, making it versatile for irregular shapes.

The proprietary 3M ceramic abrasive grain blend maintains a high degree of finish quality throughout the entire life of the disc. Unlike aluminum oxide grains that dull quickly, ceramic grain fractures to expose fresh cutting edges as it wears. This gives consistent cutting performance from first use to last.

The maximum operating speed is 25,000 RPM. This is rated for use with standard die grinders and rotary tools that accept TR (Turn-On) Roloc attachment. Do not exceed the 25,000 RPM limit. Check your tool speed before mounting. Variable speed tools should be set at or below the rated maximum.

The molded abrasive bristles remove material and coatings more efficiently than wire bristles. They do not shed individual wires that become safety hazards. The bristle spacing is optimized for coating removal and high-loading substances. They produce a more uniform surface finish than wire brushes.
