Pull Plug SPP40 - .257" Hole Silicone Plug (500ct)

The SPP40 fits .257" diameter holes, the same as the SPP37. The SPP40 has a slightly shorter .920" body and .937" head compared to the SPP37's 1.000" on both. Yellow color distinguishes the SPP40 from the gray SPP37 in the parts bin.

Choose the SPP40 when your .257" holes are in thinner material under .920" thick. The shorter body prevents the plug from protruding through the back of the part. Both seal .257" holes equally well, but the SPP40 sits more compact on thinner stock.

Both are yellow but they fit completely different hole sizes, .257" for the SPP40 and .091" for the SPP09. The size difference is obvious visually and by touch. Even if shades overlap, the physical dimensions prevent any mix-up during masking operations.

Silicone pull plugs typically last 10-20 cure cycles at standard powder coating temps of 350-450F. The SPP40's .257" diameter means moderate compression, which extends lifespan. Replace plugs when they grip loosely or show surface cracks after repeated use.
