Silicone pull plug for .162" diameter holes. Light blue color for quick identification. Dimensions A-.162, B-.625, C-.581, D-.096. 500 count per bag, rated to 600F for powder coating cure ovens.
The SPP22 fits .162" diameter holes. The .625" head sits above the surface for easy removal. The .581" body length and .096" flange work together to create a compression fit that blocks powder from entering the hole during spray and cure.
Light blue identifies the .162" hole size in the pull plug color system. This distinct color prevents mix-ups with similar sizes like the .130" gray SPP14. Color-coded plugs save time during masking setup on production lines with multiple hole sizes per part.
The .162" size is close to a #20 drill hole used for #8-32 tap holes and clearance holes on sheet metal assemblies. These appear on electrical panels, HVAC components, machinery guards, and structural brackets that require clean mating surfaces after coating.
The SPP22 creates a firm compression fit in .162" holes. The tapered silicone body expands against the hole walls. It should require a deliberate pull to remove but not so tight that it damages the hole edge. If it falls out easily, the hole is oversized.
The Pull Plug SPP22 (500ct) for .162" holes is priced at $72.54 (SKU SPP22). Ships in stock from Creative Coating Solutions. Light blue silicone, 600F rated, 500 reusable plugs per bag. Dimensions A-.162, B-.625, C-.581 for quick production masking.
