Polyurethane Rigid Caster 5" x 2" - 770 lb

The 770 lb model uses a different polyurethane compound with higher chemical resistance and non-staining properties. It also features bearing dust cover seals for cleaner operation. The 700 lb model uses precision double ball bearings with a zinc plated fork. Both are 5" x 2" non-marking.

Non-staining means the polyurethane tread will not transfer color or chemical residue onto the floor surface. Some caster materials leach plasticizers or dyes that permanently discolor light-colored flooring. Non-staining polyurethane is safe on white epoxy, sealed concrete, and painted floors.

This polyurethane tread resists most industrial chemicals, solvents, oils, and cleaning agents found in manufacturing and coating shops. It maintains its structural integrity and tread surface when exposed to these chemicals during normal rolling contact. Check specific chemical compatibility for immersion.

Dust cover seals are metal or rubber shields over the bearing race that prevent dust, debris, and moisture from entering the bearing. In powder coating shops where airborne powder is common, dust covers keep bearings clean and extend their service life compared to open bearing designs.
