The 4-position directional lock allows you to lock the swivel in one of four fixed directions (front, back, left, right). This converts the swivel caster into a rigid caster in the locked direction, providing straight-line tracking for long hallway runs or dock-to-dock transfers.

This swivel model adds 360-degree rotation plus a 4-position directional lock that the rigid version lacks. Both share the same 8" x 3" wheel, 3,500 lb capacity, and construction. The swivel adds steering capability while the lock provides rigid-mode stability when needed.
