Glass Cloth Tape (5MIL - 1/2” Wide)

The glass cloth tape is rated to 500F (260C), making it suitable for powder coating cure ovens, e-coating ovens, and thermal spray applications. The silicone adhesive maintains bond strength at high temperatures and releases cleanly after heat exposure without leaving residue.

The tape uses a silicone adhesive bonded to woven fiberglass cloth. Silicone adhesive maintains its tack and holding power at temperatures up to 500F where rubber and acrylic adhesives would fail. It removes cleanly after high-temperature exposure without residue transfer.

The 1/2" width is ideal for masking small areas, tight curves, threaded holes, and precision lines on parts going through high-temperature processes. For larger masking areas, use the 1" or 2" width versions. The narrow width also wraps easily around dowel pins and small fixtures.

Yes, for short blasting applications. The woven fiberglass cloth withstands light to moderate blast media impact for brief exposures. For extended heavy blasting, the 20 MIL PVC tape provides better abrasion resistance. Glass cloth tape excels in high-heat processes that follow blasting.
