Eco-Strip works optimally at 160-185F as a heated immersion application. It can be used at room temperature but stripping times are significantly longer. Heated strip tanks maintain the ideal temperature range for consistent results. Stripping time varies by coating type and thickness.

Rinse the stripped part with water after removing it from the Eco-Strip solution. The water rinse neutralizes the chemical and stops the stripping action. This leaves a clean surface ready for media blasting or recoating. No special neutralizing chemicals are required beyond water.

Agitation is not required but can accelerate stripping times. If you agitate, use mechanical agitation only. Air agitation is not recommended as it can cause foaming and reduce effectiveness. Most users rely on heated temperature and dwell time alone for consistent results.
