The Downflex table provides 1,750 CFM total extraction capacity split between 80% backdraft and 20% downdraft. This dual-extraction design captures fumes at the source from both behind and below the work surface, reducing operator exposure in welding and grinding applications.
The Downflex uses a disposable (non-cleaning) filter. When the filter reaches its service life, you replace it with a new filter instead of cleaning. This eliminates the need for compressed air cleaning systems and reduces maintenance complexity for the extraction unit.
The Downflex operates on 230-460V power in the Prism Downdraft Table configuration. Verify your facility power supply matches before ordering. The unit is designed for industrial shop environments that typically have 230V or 460V three-phase power available.
The Downflex includes a three-stage spark arrestor system that captures sparks and hot particles before they reach the filter. This prevents filter fires during welding and grinding operations. All controls, filters, and collection drawers are accessible from the front.
