Baileigh 48" box and pan finger brake bends up to 14 gauge mild steel, 48" wide. Welded steel plate, 0-135 degree bend angle, 4" box depth. Adjustable counterweights for apron lift assist and adjustable beam for varying thicknesses. Manual operation.
This brake bends up to 14 gauge mild steel sheet metal. The 48-inch working width handles full-size sheets for ductwork, enclosures, and fabrication panels. The fully welded steel plate construction provides the rigidity needed to produce clean bends across the full 48-inch width at 14 gauge.
The brake produces bend angles from 0 to 135 degrees. This range covers standard 90-degree box bends plus acute angles for specialized fabrication work. The 4-inch box depth allows tight return bends for box and pan shapes used in HVAC ductwork and electrical enclosures.
No. This is a manually operated brake that requires no electrical or pneumatic power. The adjustable counterweights provide apron lift assist so the operator does not have to lift the full weight of the bending beam. This makes it practical for shops without dedicated power drops at the brake location.
The box depth is 4 inches. Box depth is the maximum return flange height you can bend when making box and pan shapes. A 4-inch depth handles most standard ductwork and enclosure fabrication. For deeper box returns, you would need a brake with a larger box depth rating.
The 48" Box and Pan Finger Brake by Baileigh Industrial is priced at $7,931.00. Ships from Creative Coating Solutions. Bends 14 gauge mild steel, 0-135 degree angle, 4" box depth, adjustable counterweights, fully welded steel plate construction.
