This 3in aluminum foil tape is manufactured from dead-soft aluminum foil with an aggressive acrylic adhesive that bonds firmly to metals, plastics, and irregular surfaces. Rated to 300 deg F (149 deg C), it provides superior heat reflection, vapor barrier protection, and moisture-resistant sealing.
Ideal for masking in paint stripping, electroplating, and anodizing operations. Also used for HVAC duct sealing, heat dissipation wrapping, and waterproofing joints. The foil backing conforms easily to curved and irregular shapes.

It is used for heat reflection and dissipation wrapping, HVAC duct sealing, masking in electroplating and anodizing, vapor and moisture barrier applications, and waterproofing pipe joints. The 3in width suits medium-coverage masking tasks.
This tape is rated to 300 deg F (149 deg C). It is thermally conductive and reflects radiant heat, making it suitable for oven-adjacent masking and heat management wrapping. Not recommended for direct powder coat cure oven use above 300 deg F.
The acrylic adhesive is designed for secure bonding during application rather than clean-removal masking. For clean-release applications at high temperatures, use our hi-temp green poly tape or polyimide tape instead. Aluminum foil tape excels at permanent sealing and heat-management tasks.
