Scroll blades are designed for curved and contoured cuts - arcs, circles, and tight-radius shapes that straight cutting blades cannot follow cleanly. They are commonly used in auto body panel shaping, fabrication work, and decorative metal cutting where precise curved cuts are required.

10 teeth per inch means the blade has a coarser tooth profile that aggressively removes material. For scroll cutting, 10 TPI provides fast cutting through thicker stock while still tracking curves well. It suits metals, plastics, and composites where speed outweighs the need for a fine finish.

S538 blades are compatible with air-powered pneumatic reciprocating saws equipped with standard blade clamps. Some scroll-capable jigsaw attachments may also accept these blades - verify tang compatibility with your specific tool model.

10 TPI scroll blades cut medium-gauge steel, aluminum, plastic sheeting, fiberglass, wood composites, and auto body panel materials. The coarser tooth pitch handles thicker and mixed materials better than high-TPI blades in curved applications.
